Brewery: Birra del Borgo, Borgorose, Rieti, Italy.
Appearance: cloudy deep amber color with almost no head. There’s a small off-white lacing around the glass. Aroma: light yeast spices, caramel, estery fruits. Mouthfeel: low carbonation, oily texture, medium bodied. Taste: sweet, kind of dessert wine-alike. Fruits (sweet black cherries), dried fruits, caramel, toffee. Dry to the palate, ends on a warm smooth alcoholic note with bittering roasted malts. Overall: 25 Dodici stands simply for 25/12, which is Christmas day. This bottle was brewed in year 2010 and has aged one year in our cellar. It has kind of lost all its spicy character, and has developed some interesting wine-like traits which make this beer either a nice after dinner companion or a good match for desserts. Bottle: 75 cl., ABV 9.5%, batch 90 010, BBE 08/2012, price 8.50 Euro
