Marrone scuro, con riflessi più chiari; schiuma ocra, cremosa, buona persistenza. Naso complesso, vinoso e leggermente aspro, con frutta sotto spirito (uva), caramello, malto tostato, sentori di lievito e frutta secca. Ha corpo medio, e bassa carbonatazione. Al palato troviamo di nuovo frutta sotto spirito, caramello e malto tostato, decisamente dolce. Finisce abbastanza rapidamente abboccata, con note di frutta secca. Una dubbel (industriale) molto beverina ma abbastanza blanda in bocca, priva di carattere. Offre il meglio di sè all'olfatto, risulta tutto sommato gradevole ma difficilmente ci verrebbe voglia di riberla. Degustata in bottiglia da 25 cl., ABV 7%-_____________
english summary:
Dark brown color with a creamy off-white head. Complex and kind of wine-like aroma of fruits (grapes), notes of caramel, roasted malt, yeast and dried fruits. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Quite sweet taste with notes of fruits, caramel and roasted malt. Aftertaste is short, slighly sweet with dried fruits. A very drinkable (industrial) abbey dubbel which lacks of character in taste. Pretty nice aroma, overall enjoyable but we would hardly consider buying it again. 25 cl. bottle, 7% ABV.
