Brewery: Birrificio Brùton, in San Cassiano di Moriano (Lucca), Italy.
Appearance: deep amber color with a creamy off-white head. Aroma: American hoppy nose with tropical fruits (mango, passion fruit), grapefruit, pine and caramel. Very nice. Mouthfeel: body medium to light, medium carbonation, oily texture. Taste: sweet with caramel and tropical fruits, almost syrup. Grassy and resinous hops bite to the final. There’s a short bitter resinous aftertaste. Overall: a nice American Pale Ale, with no flaws and a fine aroma. Easily drinkable but not as “rounded” as the best examples of this style. Bottle: 75 cl., 5.5% ABV, batch 201106, bb. 30/03/2013, price 7.90 €.
