Brewery: Augustiner-Bräu, Munich, Germany
Appearance: clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma: flowery and grassy hops, honey, chamomile. Mouthfeel: light-medium body, medium carbonation, watery texture. Taste: bready malt and honey. Light grassy hops in the finish, malty aftertaste with a warm alcohol touch. Overall: Augustiner Oktoberfest beer will leave your palate a bit sticky but can be a drinkable danger. With a 6% ABV this is surely not a session beer, and you can find yourself easily “happy” with a couple of german maß (1 liter big glass). A simple and easy celebrative brew. Bottle: 50 cl., 6% ABV, batch 1208011, bb. 04/2012, price 2.60 €.
