Prodotta dalla Brasserie des Sources (un tempo chiamata Brasserie de Saint Amand) a St Amand Les Eaux (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) ad un tiro di schioppo dal confine belga. Di colore dorato, limpida, schiuma bianca, cremosa, media persistente. Al naso arriva subito qualche sentore acetico, che fortunatamente svanisce in fretta lasciando spazio a sentori floreali. Il gusto è dolce, con malto, zucchero, ma anche note metalliche e di nuovo un po’ di aceto. Il corpo è medio-leggero. Finale secco ma da dimenticare: amaro, erbaceo ma anche tanto cartone bagnato. Sarebbe una tipica birra francese (dolcetta in bocca e secca/amara a fine corsa), ma dopo il primo bicchiere preferiamo offrire al lavandino il resto della bottiglia.
