english summary:
Brewery: Camba Bavaria, Truchtlaching, Bavaria, Germany.
Style: India Pale Ale.
Appearance: very dark amber color with a solid creamy off-white head. Aroma: sweet mature citrus (orange, grapefruit), caramel, nutty malt. Not really a fresh hop aroma. Mouthfeel: medium body, low carbonation, oily texture. Taste: biscuity malt, caramel, herbal and earthy bitter hops. 8% ABV well hidden. Dry finish, herbal, earthy and bitter aftertaste with hints of orange jam. Overall: German IPA based on Schönramer’s headbrewer Eric Toft. Probably quite similar to the Bavaria Best IPA we have tasted some weeks ago, which was pretty good. It’s difficult to judge this bottle as it looks old and it’s missing hops freshness. Botle: 50 cl., 8% ABV, batch 778 11, BB 27/02/2012, price 2.50 Euro.
